What is the best way to learn Slovenian in Slovenia in 2026?

The Centre for Slovene at the University of Ljubljana Faculty of Arts is the national hub for courses, summer schools, and state-recognised exams. Morning and afternoon tracks, online options, and Slonline self-study sit beside intensive programmes for students and employees. Adult education centres and private schools across Ljubljana and Maribor add evening bands.

Eligible third-country residents may access publicly funded integration-style Slovenian courses tied to survival or basic-level goals; confirm current eligibility on GOV.SI and Infotujci pages rather than assuming every newcomer qualifies. Exam planning belongs with Slovenian exam certificates and Language requirements.
