TÖMER means a university Turkish-language teaching centre. Ankara University TÖMER offers level-based, face-to-face and online study, including general, academic and business Turkish. A Halk Eğitimi Merkezi (public adult education centre) can be a lower-cost local route. Türkiye's Ministry of Education publishes the Turkish teaching programme for foreigners through its lifelong-learning directorate, but actual classes depend on the centre, demand and term. Municipal provision is city-specific. Enstitü Istanbul İSMEK (Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality's education programme) lists Turkish levels and speaking clubs for foreigners.
