For most newcomers on the ground, IGM assigns or links an IDNP when you enter, then you request a confirmation certificate at a Foreigners’ Documentation Counter inside a regional IGM directorate, or by email to migratie.sd@igm.gov.md. Bring the standard application form from igm.gov.md, your passport bio page and copy, and a notarised power of attorney if a representative files for you. Pay the fee only after the responsible officer confirms the request.
