After payment, the file moves to the destination Kantor Imigrasi for verification. Approvals for renewals up to one year usually sit with the local office head; renewals of two years or more, and some Calling Visa national cases, need Director General approval with longer central timelines.

Circular practice since 2025 expects the holder to appear at the Kantor Imigrasi for the registered address for photo and interview.
