Da Nang offers a close airport, beach and river recreation, shorter-looking journeys, and enough schools and hospitals for many households. Its smaller education market gives less protection if admissions fail, a child's support needs change, or a teenager needs a different examination pathway. Central-coast typhoons and heavy rain also test school roads and building resilience.

Alternatives should follow a real anchor. A parent working in former Binh Duong may prefer a school and home on the same side of expanded Ho Chi Minh City. A northern manufacturing family may use Hanoi's Long Bien or eastern approaches rather than cross the centre. Hoi An only works when the family accepts dependence on Da Nang for broader schooling and specialist care.
