How we calculate these rankings
We filter to Asian countries in our geographic model (East, Southeast, South, and Caucasus/Central Asia buckets, plus cross-listed peers such as Turkey), then average two editorial factors per country (equal weight): internet strength for daily work, and expat community depth. Higher combined scores rank higher.
What this does not measure: Time zones vs your employer, air quality weeks, or whether a tourist visa covers remote work. Always verify residence and tax rules for foreign income.
